My test for what makes a good car is how good it would be as a police car. Bear in mind that I am from the United Kingdom, so I consider the needs of British police for their cars. Those who get arrested by the police here in Britain are usually transported in vans, which have a cage in the back to hold a detainee - in some cases, detainees can be transported in the back of a police car, but they're meant to do a risk assessment, and there has to be another officer sitting in the back with them. So two-seater sports cars would probably be unsuitable for police use in America, but would be just fine here in Britain.

mine has failed three times ,,,DENTED TAIlGATE,,,,,,yes , pin installed correctly ,,,,,,,I have had three harnesses ,,,and three switches they have ALL failed ,,,,,,,cant handle salt etc ,,I have video of it malfunctioing ,,,,they dont even call back !

I paid $7500 for my 2001 1500hd in 2006 with 120,000. It now has almost 300,000. Only thing major I’ve had to do is replace the transfer case and broken manifold bolts. Awesome truck. Wool wax the rockers, wheel wells, and chassis and it will out last your grand children.

GM should stand behind their Silverado's. With all the money 💰 that they charge for them they shouldn't have this many problems. GM need to better . They had a lot of years to fix these problems but haven't done anything

Just ordered the fix yesterday….I have a new 2024 LTZ Silverado and I tow a boat 3 times a week, just on forget forgetful time will ruin a fishing trip. So this fix should be a stand item on a split gate from the factory….GM wake up, you have a great tailgate make it complete with this up-grade…..

I have same camera Nikon d3200 and ronin s gimbal. How do you set up control button from the gimbal with the camera? I haven't figured that part out. Is there a wire that connects to the camera? Thanks

I own an XT4 and love that I can turn off the engine shutdown at stoplights. cant do that on the XT5.

I not only managed this in a smaller access cab, it also had clam shell doors.

I wanna put one in my Caprice so bad, its already built for towing with an NV4500, 14BSF, and 4.10s. The old LT1 still runs pretty good though.

My XT5 looks Identical to the one in the Video, Premium Luxury Model. I just wish that Effin Auto Stop could be shut off.
